Stories are powerful tools. ​

Unfortunately, many people with disabilities do not realize how important their stories are.  Also sometimes people with disabilities haven't been impacted yet by climate change and they don't realize what the future will bring.

To address these realities we must use personal stories. Because humans are empathetic creatures, personal stories can shift climate change beliefs. Furthermore, hearing about the climate-related experiences of others helps to correct the misunderstanding that most people are at low risk for the negative impact of climate change.
